  • Season:

  • Target Audience:
  • Children 3 -5 years.
  • Type of display:
  • Institutional animatronic window display synchronized with localised narration & lighting effects of approx. 2 minute duration.
  • Clients brief:
  • In anticipation of a newly renovated store and facade, Myer requested a clean, contemporary theme to reflect the new store interiors / exteriors and National Christmas collateral rollout.
  • Design Rationale:
  • Rather than prompting the audience to focus in on traditional micro detail (as per traditional window sets), the 2009 windows present macro designed & choreographed window displays, intended to be viewed as a complete performance. Not only do the simple, non cluttered stage sets reflects the original illustrations, but they also direct the audiences attention to the characters, narration and whimsical punch lines for each window’s 2 minute skit.
