chanel DJs flower show 2014
David Jones Sydney, 65-77 Market St, Sydney
Chanel presented us with designs that required a Chanel No.5 pack/bottle factice and a 'bee swarm' or wave of roses as main elements of the display.
It was imperative that the wave of roses appeared suspended. We achieved this by using 3 levels of clear acrylic sheets with pre-drilled perforations positioned to form the wave pattern. We housed each rose in a test tube and each tube was inserted into a perforation, effectively coming together as a wave of roses.
We fabricated the Chanel No.5 pack fully in-house: foam carving to shape the factice; cnc routing to produce a Chanel No.5 wax seal; and spray painting and decals to complete the detail.
