visual merchandising melbourne
Our visual merchandising work is predominantly for retail clients like Myer, Ralph Lauren, Prada and Miu Miu to name a few. We can offer complete concept-to-finished-product service, or follow supplied designs to build 3D props to spec for one-off displays or cookie-cutter designs. While much of our visual merchandising is Melbourne based, we often build (and at times install) displays for clients’ national locations.
The practice of modern visual merchandising is essentially the same as when it emerged during the 18th century - to use the floor space, generally of a retail environment, effectively to purposefully communicate and appeal to a prospective customer, and ultimately induce engagement and purchase. Retailers began to display their merchandise rather than keep it hidden from customers, which gave way to the concept of store design and visual merchandising, transforming shopping into a sensory experience.
We believe wholeheartedly that visual merchandising is still a very effective way of luring customers, influencing brand perception and improving the shopping experience. It is, irrefutably, the reason that we have worked this art form for more than 2 decades without reservation.
With roots in visual merchandising and the retail industry, John Kerr, leading visual merchandiser in Melbourne and staff collectively impart a seasoned understanding of visual merchandising and a history of well-practiced techniques to create and manage all aspects of a retail visual displays.
